Tallahassee International Airport (IATA: TLH, ICAO: KTLH, FAA LID: TLH) is a major airport serving north Florida. Located in Leon County, Florida, the airport is about five miles southwest of downtown Tallahassee and serves many destinations across the United States.
The airport covers 2,485 acres and sits 25 meters above sea level at 30° 23′ 48″ North and 84° 21′ 1″ West.
It has two runways: 9/27 is 8,000 by 150 feet (2,438 by 46 m) and 18/36 is 7,000 by 150 ft. (2,134 by 46 m). It also has 14 terminal gates and houses a lobby with baggage claim systems, counters for airlines, and screening and security rooms.
TLH provides a business center with workstations and Wi-Fi connectivity. It also offers play areas for all ages, including arcades and video games.
This airport has a news and gift shop, food and beverage sections, phone charging stations, and many more.

History of Tallahassee International Airport
The airport began operations on April 23, 1961, as the Tallahassee Municipal Airport. In June 1961, the airport was the site of Freedom Rider protests. In the 1970s, Eastern Airlines, Delta Air Lines, National Airlines, and Southern Airways began flying into TLH.
In the 1980s, a new runway was added to accommodate bigger aircraft. By 1989, the city opened the $33 million terminal, which was renamed the Ivan Munroe Terminal in 2000. On June 26, 2015, Tallahassee Regional Airport was renamed Tallahassee International Airport.
In recent years, TLH has been the focus city for American Eagle, Delta Air Lines, Delta Connection, and Silver Airways. Cargo companies FedEx Express, FedEx Feeder, and Quest Diagnostics Aviation also operate here.
In 2020, the busiest domestic routes from TLH include Atlanta, Georgia, Charlotte, North Carolina, Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, Miami, Florida, Washington–National, D.C., Tampa, Florida, and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Today, the airport operates hundreds of flights per day, including general aviation, air taxi, and military.
